not a carper machine
difficult to operate on carpet. hardwood floors it a breeze but even short nap carpet, two hands are needed

undersized
2 of 3 found this helpful plate size too small to hold bacon strips. Raised grooves are barely tall enough to keep bacon out of grease puddle. Bad news is that package directions advise to microwave plate for no longer than two minutes at a time. I usually cook 6 strips of bacon at a time (61/2 minutes); great.
