Good for T-ball or home practice
If you plan to use this at home or maybe for Tball its a good value for the price. Not as durable as others, but priced accordingly. It takes the abuse of my 4-year-old learning to swing for Tball, but I would not expect it to last nearly as long with my 15-year-old daughter using it for softball practice.
One con is the packaging. The base is rolled up in the box and takes some time and effort to flatten out. Don't expect it to pop out of the box and use it for practice in minutes.
Finally, the "pop-back" feature is somewhat dubious. The balance and weighting generally helps it stand, but if you've ever seen what really happens to a batting tee,you know pop-back is not a sure thing. I can't say yet how it will perform through a whole season. For the money I spent I'd be okay with 1-2 seasons of home practice use.
