Fantastic Vac But Arrived Filthy
I purchased used, so I expected some wear and dirt, but this thing was filthy. There were no bags (one bag would’ve been nice). I had to use a shop vac to clean the inside of the canister because it looked like a bag exploded in there. Then, I had make a trip to a specialty vacuum store to buy bags. Now, once that was all over, I have to say those Germans know what’s up. This is the best vacuum I’ve ever owned. I bought this to replace an almost 20 year old Oreck from when Mr. Oreck owned and ran the company. It was a tall bar to clear, but the Meile exceeded expectations. It’s heavy and unwieldy, but I’m sure I’ll get used to that. The suction and carpet fluffing are amazing and made me rethink the need for new carpets in the kid’s rooms. That can wait a few more years. Great product, just a dirty arrival.
