Nice if quick view of Marilyn Monroe on screen for the first time
Despite claims in some reference books that Marilyn Monroe only appears in the distant background as one of two girls in a canoe, there is a lovely smiling shot of her leaving the church and she has a brief speaking line. The film itself is folksy and charming, written and directed by F. Hugh Herbert, creator of Corliss Archer and playwright of The Moon Is Blue.
