Using the bits
1 of 1 found this helpful Great deal. I used one of the bits today on cast iron, works like any drill bit should. They are consumable and I expect to break a few and dull them up as I use them quite often, the great thing about this product is the easy use of the index when I need to choose the right bit for a tap size. Super compact, easy to use, a pleasure to have. When I break a bit i plan to replace just the bit to keep a complete index. I just open it up and leave it open in the shop. If you plan to open the case and close it quite often, you may get frustrated with the way the larger bits open, they tend to slide around and bind up when you open and close the case a lot. Once I open this baby up, I probably wont close the case again. A must have for shop dogs that drill and tap. I love it.

When in Need
I got this little beauty by accident, I didn't read the ad closely, now I'm glad I did because every once in a while I need a metric tap or die. It's already paid for itself in time saved. Personally I don't use metric that much, but when I do need one it's nice to have. Great deal for getting the job done. I wouldn't use them on tough metals, I got them for the quick and easy tapping. It looks like they are intended for more delicate jobs.

Rainy night in Georgia
Plain and simple, this product does what it is made to do. It takes no time to pull it off and put it on, the contours and stretchy parts fit around the front and back nicely. It rained all night and in the morning there was a little puddle of water on top of the cover at the bottom of the front and back windows. I checked inside and there was no leaks as I would have expected. I am completely happy with the cover. The soft underside feels nice, and every time I take the cover off I feel confident that it will be in the same condition as when I put the cover on.
