The Visitor
What does it take to awaken someone from a hum-drum life, or should I say mere existence? Sometimes the catalyst happens and depending on your reaction to it, the changes that can take place can change your life completely! This is what happens to Walter, played by Richard Jenkins who gives the performance of his career in this film. The scene in the park with all the drummers is another turning point for Walter, and his decision to participate in life rather than standing back and always being an observer pays huge dividends. The screenplay and cinematography combine perfectly. This movie left me wondering if something could happen in my life that could change it dramatically? And if that something did happen, would I recognize it for what it is and act on it? I wonder...
