- Don't Make My Mistake - Be Sure You Know What You're Buying
I really goofed when I bought this for my Walther PPS, 9mm. I have no complaints on the quality of the DMP recoil kit, BUT I did not realize that the older model is not flush mount. The bushing extends well past the frame. It is not attractive at all. And I am not sure if it will impact my carrying this in a form fit kydex holster.
I have not shot this. I am sure it will be fine, and is well made, but I was expecting a flush mount item that didn't change the appearance of the pistol . . . I did not care if it was a captured spring unit or not, but I did not expect the end of the rod and bushing to extend beyond the frame. That (flush mount) is the newer all one piece version, not the older lose guide rod & bushing kit.
It was my mistake, but make sure you know what you are buying . . . saving a few bucks isn't worth getting something you didn't really want or expect.
