Older versions work better!
My original Pixel 2 XL was purchased in Jan 2018. I am a heavy user and the phone served me very well, with regular updates of Android UI and Apps. The battery life was good until 18 months old, but then it started to deteriorate. I decided to replace the phone like for like, however the new version had all sorts of problems such as no back up option, headphones not working, speaker phone not working and no sound from alarms/phone calls/notifications. Did some research and it seems these problems are well documented within Pixel Forums. So disappointed as I have bought in heavily to the Google ecosystem.....
