Plenty of speed and very stable for a core2 duo processor. Windows 10 works perfectly.

Sony 4K Ultra HD Media Player works great with Sony 4K ultra TV (2015 model)
2 of 2 found this helpful I have a Sony XBR-65X800B Ultra HD TV Set Mfg in 2015. A couple of things not in the books. 1. You have to connect the Sony FMP-X1 HDMI cable into HDMI input 2 (at least on my set). If connected wrong, the TV will sense the FMP-X1 is in the wrong place and a message on the TV will tell you where to connect it. It also keeps the FMP-X1 from powering on. 2. You operate the FMP-X1 by using the 4K app in the "HOME" menu on the TV set. Not by the input number of where the FMP-X1 is connected. Other than that it is just a matter of setting up an account on the Sony Network Entertainment website to be able to purchase or rent movie titles. Movies to purchase are $29.99 and to rent for $7.99. You will probably want to purchase or rent a title the day before you want to watch it. depending on your ISP, it takes hours to download a title. There is a lot of free content on Sony's website that is accessed via the Sony app on the TV as well. Mostly short documentaries or 4K action cam footage. If you have a newer Sony 4K TV, I would highly recommend purchasing a Sony FMP-X1 -especially if you can get a re-manufactured one. There is not a lot of 4K titles yet, but for around a $100 for a re-manufactured unit it is well worth seeing true 4K content in your home for the first time. The free titles that come loaded on this unit are mostly short documentaries of under sea life and other videos shot using a 4K camera. But they are absolutely amazing to see. Just remember to move the couch close to the TV when viewing 4K. A 65" screen is supposed to be viewed at around 7 feet away. It is well worth seeing these clips of true 4K video up close in your home. Also, this unit does not come with a remote control as the Sony TV remote will operate it when using the 4K TV app. The FMP-X1 has a dedicated second HDMI outpu port that will carry digital audio information directly to your Home Theater system. The main HDMI output port will carry audio and video to either your Home Theater or can be connected straight to the HDMI input of the TV-which I found is the best way to connect it as I didn't want the Amp to process any of the 4K video.

"Great for dialog as center channel"
Had to store away a reference Klipsch center channel speaker since we have gotten older and can't make out the dialog in movies most of the time unless we have the captions turned on.
This Polk S35 is working great as a replacement at an awesome price. I took a chance buying it without hearing it and it was worth it!
