45/70 new brass too strong!!

While the tong tool is great for smaller size cartridges, 45/70 brass is simply too much for the tong tool. Despite lubrication, resizing new Starline brass requires excessive pressure to size, and then the case can only be extracted by twisting the die from the handles and using a pry tool. The handles with extractor will NOT pull the case out of the die. NOT RECOMENDED FOR 45/70!

GREAT TRIGGER

Easy to install except you have to remove the sear pin and be careful to get sear back in right position. Since you have to do that, you may as well install the bushing to remove the magazine disconnect. Adjusting screws are hard to adjust but work.

Good backup

SLOW but works. Good backup for a real press and dies.
