Galleria Stained Glass Landscape Folding Umbrella Umbrellas and Rain Gear NEW

pretty umbrella - outshines the solid dark ones on gloomy days!

It has an auto-open feature that works well, the auto close only closes the material, it does not retract the metal 'stem'. To pull that closed, it takes 2 hands and a lot of pull -- something I was not expecting. I also thought it would be wider, or at least have a curve down on the edges. Instead, it opens out almost flat, so the rain drops onto whatever is at the edge - including you. If they could re-design it with a curve at the edges, and keep it side enough (at least 44-48 inches opened up) that would make it much more usable. As it is, it works for light rains, not heavy downpours. (those require golf umbrellas here in Maryland in order to stay semi-dry!). Bottom line: seems to be constructed well; have only used it twice. Not ripping seams, so I am keeping my fingers crossed. I hope they hold up (I bought the stain glass look and the one with blue pansies -- which is more purple than blue, but that's OK. It beats all the dark umbrellas I see). Price is in line with the product quality. Shipping was fast. So far-so good. Yes, I'd recommend it.

thin, flimsy hair ins

This negative review has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH THE SELLER!! The pins are thin and they twist easily -- making them useless. I thought these would be a tad wider, with heavier and stronger metal used (like the ones from 50-years ago ... but I dream, don't I??!! They are not worth the cost as they twist sideways and are only good for 1 or 2 times. What a waste. GOODY products are not any better ... it's been a waste of $$$.
