Clear crisp vocals and surprisingly warm mids
The Motion 30 matches perfectly with the Motion 40s in every way. This makes the 5.1 with my SACDs and DSD music sound balanced and seamless. The imaging is crisp and clear but not too forward. Soundstage is mid-laid back. This is what you want. If it's projected too far forward it sounds a bit too much in your face, which this speaker does not do. Overall value is very high comparable to high end audiophile speakers costing 2-3x more. This is high end audiophile quality at a mid range price. Great value but must be paired with a capable high current AVR and proper high resolution room correction such as Audyssey XT32. XT32 can take a mid range speaker sound pretty good. But it can take an audiophile speaker and make it sound amazing. There is a difference and it's not subtle if setup correctly.

Best all in on streamer and DAC
An audiophile grade streamer with full connectivity functionality. Checks off every box. Nice display as well. Integrates nicely with other Cambridge Audio CX components, especially the CXA81. Highly recommended
