Easy to fit. 40 mins taking your time.
1 of 1 found this helpful Remove the door trim and drill out the 4 large pop rivets use a much larger drill so thy cut off the heads.
Remove the two bolts holding the 3rd rail. You need a 10mm spanner for this. Note the way the rail is oriented. Dont reverse it when fitting it back in later.
The window may need someone to hold it as you do all the above so it does not come crashing down and breaking.
I used a metric tap and cut threads into the new part so I could use bolts instead of using the pop riivet idea. I also had to drill the holes out that the pop rivets had gone through as the bolts would not fit.
Slide the old one out and the new one in. Put the 3rd rail on and position the bolts for it finger tight.
Slide the new regulator rails onto both ends.
When they are all on start to put one bolt at a time that replace the pop rivets. This is where you need another person. You can move the window up and down by hand to line them up. If you need to you can plug in the harness and move it slightly to get them to line up.
Dont crush your fingers in the moving mechanism.
Tighten all parts and test the window.
My item must have been reverse wired and I could have removed it and rewired it but it doesnt matter on a 15 year old car.
I noticed the old regulator had a failed spot weld on the arms...no wonder it kept breaking the rail clips.

Omron its always the best.
2 of 2 found this helpful If you are ever buying a blood pressure monitor always buy Omron. They never disappoint.
They are reliable and accurate and work exactly as you expect. We have been buying them for over 10 years and the first ones we bought are still working perfectly.
We update mainly for two reasons.
1: Its a tax claim
2: Someone has borrowed it and never returns it.
This latest monitor has Bluetooth and although we have used it we would not generaly use this function. If you had to show the details to a doctor of a number of weeks monitoring then it may be of use but the app has no ablility to print data. This function could be added easily via Goggle print or output to google storage as a pdf or possibly a usb print dedicated port. It would make the data mort transferable.
The thing we like most about it is the 2 user switch. Being able to save two lots of data separately is great. We do wonder why its not a programmable rotary switch or a left/right programmable button so you could have up to 10 users with the names popping up on the screen. It would be an easy change but would make it very family orientated.
Even with those negatives it is still by far the best brand to buy. The items works perfect, the Cuff is made to last and is so much better than cheap brand items, the batteries last for ages (and they were suppied in the box) even the silicon plug that the cuff hose plugs into feels right. Do yourself a favor and buy Omron. Get one with the ablility for 2 people and then choose the model you like. We liked this one.

The rubber is good enough for the purpose but does chip easily. Hopefully they will be durable enough.
