Great deal
It’s nice that there is still a source for these IC’s. This is a great product.

Great CW only radio.
2 of 2 found this helpful The HW 16 is a wonderful CW rig that covers the lower 250 kHz of the 80, 40, and 15 meter ham bands. The receiver has great selectivity which is around 500 Hz and is great for CW work even during a CW contest when the banda are packed. It is crystal controlled but can be paired with any number of extermal VFO's such as the Heathkit HG 10 VFO. The HW 16 was a first radio for many novice ham operators in the 1970's and early 1980's. It sure brings back many good memories for many of us old ham operators.
