I absolutely love the Dex!
I live in an internet deadzone and hotspoting my phone was very expensive. I got the Dex after getting a Samsung Galaxy s8 and now, I can use my phones internet without hotspotting, on a large screen. It takes no more data then if I was using the phone directly. It is absolutely amazing. I did have to turn to YouTube to figure out how to set it up, but after that it is a piece of cake. I have tested it with numerous tvs and monitors and have found that the Dex works a lot better on a tv screen then on a computer monitor. It does NOT work with a laptop. You can also use a bluetook keyboard and mouse with the dex (I got mine from Walmart for $12 for the set).

Great for soundproofing, not for heat
I purchased this in hopes to save my carbon fiber hood from cracking due to engine heat. But, instead of helping, it actually hardened and crumbled where the heat was. This caused a ton of smoke and horrible smell every time I stopped. I would not recommend it for engine bays... but, it would be an amazing soundproofer as the foam is thick.
