Used to take 15 min. to lift wondering if it would die any second. Now works great in a fraction on the time
Replaced original one motor and gearbox and connecting shaft with two motors and gearboxes and two control switches one for each motor. One on each landing gear leg. It used to take 15 min. to raise up the 5th wheel trailer to hook it up wondering all the time if it was going to die any second. Now it doesn't struggle at all lifting and only takes a fraction of the time. I sued the original drivers side "landing leg" however I had to modify the input shaft so the gearbox coupler could slide on (grind one side of the shaft flat), and drill a hole for the hand crank shaft to go through.
The switch assemblies have awg 10 gauge wire which the originals had 12 gauge.
Motors and gearboxes are the same part numbers as the originals.
