grips

wilson tuckers "ice and iron"
i had never heard of wilson tucker until last year when the local public radio station did a story about him. Since lived in my area i felt i should of at least read something he wrote....he is a science fiction writer who seems fascinated with time travel.one neat thing about his books at least for me is he uses local landmarks.this was true with "the lincoln hunters" and "time bomb"..."ice and iron" is the third book of his i have read..the story takes place in the near future and alternates its chapters with a connecting story in the distant future. i had planned to only read three on his books. just enough to acquant myself with his work. but i found myself liking ice and iron so much that i plan to read two more of his books finishing with the one he won the award for "year of the quiet sun"...the books i have read are a bit dated but are a quick pulp fiction style of read and wilson tucker shows a active imagination.
