Expect to fall down when you least expect it
I have owned these now for three years and have tried everything to get them to work. The velcro straps are too short to fit around pac boots such as Sorels. The velcro gets coated with ice and comes undone- when you least expect it and just when you are truly depending on them for a secure step. The metal screw studs come unscrewed within minutes sometimes and have to be replaced to then fall out again almost immediately. Terrible design. No secure footsteps at all. The only thing good about these is the rubber part made by Vibram.

Bad design
3 of 6 found this helpful The design of the strainer on this percolator boggles the mind. I have tried every kind of grind of coffee from fine to course and I cannot get the water to strain through the coffee in less than half an hour. Why did they make these strange holes that clog up every time?Simple strainer holes will allow the water to pass through so that one doesnt have to leave the pot burning up on the stove and boiling away all the water just to get one cup of coffee at the end.
