So far I really have not had much of a chance to put it to use, The chain walking feature is new to me. Unfortunately the chain walker can only stop every second link, about 3 inches more or less. On a short run this is not suitable but on long run it may be ok. Other comment is that it is fairly heavy. We have to pack a lot of equipment over rough country so being light weight is essential. It seems to be well made and durable. Appears to be cadmium plated which in not very durable. Once the Cadmium plating is breached they you have a cadmium battery and the plating will vanish rapidly. Tin plating, Galvanizing, or Galvalum would be much better. Also Cadmium is very toxic.

Great buy and I bought more

Bought these before to try them and they were great. Much brighter than incandecent and all 20 only use about what one or two incandescent bulbs use. So lots less heat and battery drain in RV. Nice white light. Had two failures fairly early on.

Good tool

Pretty Cool Tool, I do prescribed burning and other outdoor work so it it important to know temperature and dew-point, Instantly at hand. Much better than a sling psycrometer.
