It didn’t do much I couldn’t already do
6 of 14 found this helpful A friend gave me his and as much as I tried, I couldn’t make much use of it. It’s handy for iPhone mirroring but the type of video streaming I do, I find that this version of the Apple TV does not make it an easy feat to accomplish. There’s no App Store like on later versions so you can’t download additional apps to help you, however the iPhone mirroring feature should rectify the issue if you want to play games or videos on a bigger screen or whatnot. I’m not much of a TV watcher nor do I have cable so that extra benefit is lost on me. I do most of my video streaming from my PC and I stream to my PS3 almost effortlessly while I find that I have to re-convert the source to a format that Apple can recognize and risk degrading the quality in the process. My PS3 does all I really need in a media box, albeit with the aid of a media server, whereas when I try AirParrot for the AppleTV it’s a pretty high chance that the video either isn’t going to play or the sound will be muted, no matter how many times I flip through AirParrot’s settings plus the AppleTV’s audio settings. It’s probably useful to the more casual user that doesn’t need more than the basic features offered in this model. To reiterate, I find that my PS3 does all I need and performs more efficiently, except for the iPhone mirroring but that’s a feature I can live without. A+ for design, the box looks nice and the small remote is snazzy looking but is really not my cup of tea for long so I mainly use the AppleTV remote app. It should be fine for the more casual users but the more techy users may find its limitations too much to use on a regular basis.

DVD is way overpriced
3 of 4 found this helpful Not only is it insulting that this DVD is over $100 regardless if it’s out of print or not, it’s even worse that it’s $100 for a pan and scan copy. This film was shot in the super wide 2.35:1 aspect ratio which means this DVD is missing a significant amount of visual information from its original ratio. Not recommended!

Intense and Long Lasting...

I can smell this Intense version of Light Blue on my clothes after several hours while the lighter scent of the regular Light Blue dries up after an hour if I'm lucky. This is a better value. It doesn't smell as appealing as the regular Light Blue, it's missing one note while another is maxed out to give it the intense scent but it's still an attractive scent. Don't overdo it, one or two spritzes is plenty.
