Great addition to my smart phone...
This is more then a Samsung Gal battery charger, it has an 800ma USB port to boot!
The charge indicator is red what charging and turns blue when charged.
A caveat on battery insertion; The two delicate charging terminals are on the top-left of the charger face.
Mate the battery to the charger terminals first - then press the battery flat against the charger.
You will notice the battery is wider then the charger face - that's okay - enjoy!

I procured this remote as a spare...
I did not care that the battery cover was missing because I have an original issue (working) remote
that I wanted to back up just in case...Install new battery (twice) and I was unsuccessful getting it to communicate.
with my Phonak hearing aids. I placed it in a kitchen drawer in case I should even need a non-working remote with a missing battery cover...
