One Of A Few.
Not many books on this particular theme. There are plenty of books about mediaeval and gothic architecture, and also a few good TV documentaries about this subject, but as far as actual books are concerned, this would be the 'holy grail' of HOW these buildings were made. Easy to read, great illustrations, and a handy almost-pocket sized, informative tome on a favourite subject of mine.

An excellent all-rounder FX device along the lines of Korg SDD Delay units from the mid 80's.
The TOA DE-1000 truly is a gem of a machine. If you like the Korg Digital delays of the mid-80s, you won't be disappointed with this machine. In fact I believe it is better in a few ways. It has 4 memory slots, three solo outs as well as mix outs, and it doesn't require a user manual to figure it out. A wonderful endless loop machine, and there are countless ways to utilise it. It has modulation in and out jacks for plugging into modular stuff. A very nice bit of musical history, that I guess is so ultra-rare that there is not much about it online, even on Japanese sites. I feel that the best assets, aside from the sound, is the buttons and sliders, and three LED displays. An excellent quality device, if you can find one!

Long Lost Almost-Classic.
One of my all-time inspirational musical acts, The Buggles were always at the cutting edge of technology and production. This album , although missing the mark commercially, still exudes that early 80's digital pioneering quality, and I really like it as a result. If one needed an example of how much the Fairlight CMI's influence had impacted the sound of the '80's' then look no further than this album.
