Ghostface Killah

Another solid album from a guy who can't miss. Underrated is an understatement for this MC. Since the break up of Wu-Tang and the reformation of Wu-Tang he has consistently made solid albums. He possesses the skill to make music that is true to Hip Hop and it's art form in many facets. He can story tell like Slick Rick with a touch of Rakim meets Kool G. Rap while he delivers his own identity song after song. I wonder will he ever get his props for being constant with the real.

Trouble Funk- Drop The Bomb

Trouble Funk was one of the cornerstone in the foundantion of Go-Go music in Washington D.C. Along with Chuck Brown, Rare Essence, Experience Unlimited/E.U. and others.in the late 70's and early 80's. I remember seeing them for the first time live and their sound shook my body through out the show. They had some of the best musicians especially their percussive rhythyms combined with horn section and keyboards. Big Tony(lead talker/bass player) was one of my favorites because of hiplaying style and deep Barry White type voice. Trouble Funk was a must see band if you followed the Go-Go scene at all during this period. I still have to have my fix now after 20+ years. I will never stop listening to them as long as I live. Music speaks louder than words, so listen when ever you get a chance.
