Although it says it is for the GL1100, the cable is a lot shorter than stock - it will not fit if you are using stock handlebars.

Although it says it is for the GL1100, the cable is a lot shorter than stock - it will not fit if you are using stock handlebars.
It was sheer luck that I have a shorter sportier handlebars mounted so the shorter cable did reach the socket which is in the headlight.
Furthermore, the throttle cables mount is upside instead of downside as stock. Another down point if you are looking for the original look.
Otherwise, the item seems sturdy and functions fine.
