Practically perfect and not very petite

It's a little larger and heavier than I expected but the folding stand/cover is solid, protects the keyboard when not in use, and easily holds up tablets or (in my case) phones. It connects straight away too. The aluminium shell is very smart.

DJI Mavic Pro 4k Quadcopter Drone

The original flagship drone still going strong!

Having flown a few drones, I think this is one of the best on the market: it's quick to get into the air with no mucking around as it boots quickly and acquires satellites swiftly, the remote and phone-based app connect straight away, and it's good to go. The battery life is excellent and the 4K camera is great. And the range really is amazing. The extra size and smarts make it a worthwhile investment over the smaller (and highly frustrating) Spark, which can't even come close in terms of range or ease-of-use. The software is the main disadvantage to DJI drones: it's not the most intuitive to learn, or to control some of the more clever automated functions. The drone's camera gimbal is fragile, so any frontal crashes risk damaging it. (In its defense, if you have some skills with a fine screwdriver and some patience, the repairs are not difficult.) Considering this is the original Mavic, it still performs exceptionally well, is still fully supported by DJI, and I expect many more years of happy flying.

Skip the rest, Eneloop's the best.

Eneloop batteries are the first name in proper quality batteries. These seem to be the genuine article and are working great.
