Low-Tone Trimmer Judged Okay by Skeptical Heeler
This purchase was not advertised as having been opened, but it was. The product itself was new. It was louder than I expected having read previous reviews, but the noise was LOW as opposed to the HIGH PITCHED squealing made by other trimmers. It is powerful, which made for faster trimming. And our cautious, machine-wary heeler was okay with it - as long as peanut butter is in play. Thanks!

Brief Historic Masterpiece
A lot has happened to Lutheranism in America since 1904, but I am glad to have this book as a snippet in time. It really is a brief and historical presentation of the facts-to-date (1904), but as far as I can tell, it's remarkably accurate and well-written for an era in which much of this history was still transpiring in German, Norwegian, Slovak and English. To put it in the perspective of my own church body's history, this is pre-merger of the Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan and Nebraska Synods. This is pre-demise of the Buffalo Synod. This is barely a generation into the establishment of the North American Synodical Conference (LCMS, WELS, ELS, Slovak). A cool read.
