Makes life simple, one remote does work of many.
I was interested in the idea of working everything from a video driven menu and not depending on an overly complicated remote control. This does the trick. Easy to set up and use. The sound quality is very good for the size and power. Once you have all your gadgets (DVD, game console, cable box) hooked up, all you have to do is tell the NeoHD what you want to watch and it will go to the correct input, adjust the sound, and display the output on the TV. The NeoHD remote will control other devices by using a wired IR transmitter that you attach to the front of the device to be controlled. I use the IR to work my cable box. The Neo remote provide quick access to functions like channel up/down, TV guide, and cable box menu. More complex cable box functions can be done, but require a bit more button pushing then I care for. The IR transmitter will work most DVD players as well.
