false advertisement and ruined battery
I managed to fix the device, as it came with multiple defects that weren't just cosmetic. The first major one was the battery; it was completely ruined and the laptop would shut down the instant the magnetic charger was disconnected. I managed to fix this by replacing the battery myself from one I found on Amazon, which is working well now. The second problem is that this was advertised as being introduced in 2015, with the model number being MF839. However, this is untrue; its a mid-2014 laptop, which is not ideal as I was hoping to install OS 12, which is incompatible with this model. The mousepad is borderline, with right clicks not working, but this was advertised.
