Correct OEM carburetor for Kohler Command 17.5 engines.
If you have an older (10 years) tractor powered with a Kohler Command 17.5 engine, and want to avoid catastrophic engine failure due to a leaking fuel shut-off solenoid and worn float needle... THIS IS THE FIX!
The electric fuel solenoid can fail several ways, and the carburetors float needle has a soft tip that wears and will fail to seal. This will cause fuel to leak into the engine's cylinder, and then into the engine oil while it is sitting. The time the engine is started with gasoline in the crankcase, it can seize the engine or even cause it to send internal parts thru the case!
The cost of a correct OEM carburetor rebuild kit, and a new solenoid are equal to what you will pay for this CORRECT OEM CARBURETOR.
