Recording and Producing in the Home Studio
2 of 2 found this helpful To cite the book, page vi in the introduction, paragraph two, "This book is for artists, songwriters, bands, and aspiring engineers and producers who want to better understand how to engineer and produce their own recordings in a home or project studio. As artists and/or songwriters, it may not be clear what specific functions engineers and producers perform in the creation of music (though you probably already perform many of theses functions). For you, the delineation between functions will disappear because youo'll learn to do them all at the same time!

Data Entry Activities for Microcomputers
1 of 1 found this helpful Due to lack of any details in the description of this book, I purchased this item and I was very disappointed. As a result I am putting forth a description of what this book is for, thereby, in hopes that someone else who may uncertain as to whether or not this book is for them, can truly decide before purchasing....
I am quoting a particular paragraph from page III, which comes under the preface. It is as follows: "Data Entry Activities for Microcomputers is designed to run on the IBM PC, PS/2, IBM compatibles, Macintosh SE, SE30, Classic, LC, Ils, or higher, and the Tandy 1000.". Tandy 1000?
This book, on its quality points are: 1. Very well organized. 2. Very comprehensible. 3. Has 10 chapters with activities at the end of each one so that you may test your skills.

Discovering computers 2007
This book is incredible. You can use it without having to enroll in a college program and actually understand it! Anyone who knows someone that is new at computers or is scared to try to learn about them, this is the book for them! I say it again, excellent book!
