Better than expected

This was categorized as pre-owned, and the description listed it as surplus. The one I received was new/un-used still in the sealed plastic bag. A good soaking with wd-40 and it soften up quite well. I actually bought this to use as a bandolier holster for a handgun. The shoulder harness easily un-loops into a single strap. I may buy a second one for a spare or alter for smaller pistols. Thank you.

Best wooden grips for the price

Overall these are well made. I will probably do a little sanding to thin the back edge along the backstrap. These are a hair thicker than the original grips but not by much. I don't have large hands but I can still touch my middle finger with my thumb when I hold my pistol, which is quite good for a double-stacked .45acp. These grips add a bit of class to a utility-class pistol made for desert combat. Thank you. JD
