GREAT buy! But switch the hose out
This pump is amazing! I run aquariums with it, and it can handle a dozen tanks easily! I replaced the 6-outlet manifold with a 12-outlet, and still have everything turned down, so it's not even running full power! It is very loud when nothing is connected and gets significantly quieter when you finally have hoses attached. But even then, I wouldn't try and keep it in or next to a bedroom!
The biggest problem with this is the hose that runs from the pump to the manifold. They supply you with a silicone version, which should not be used without a hose clamp! The pump will push the hose right off of the nozzle. You'll know when it happens, because the pump gets loud, but unless you're right there to put it back on, you lose aeration and risk back-flow from the water. I suggest getting a small piece of the reinforced hose they sell at hardware stores to replace this silicone hose, or buying small hose clamps.
