Big monsters, beautiful women, great swordplay in family-friendly movie
Classic Ray Harryhausen stop-motion action. Lots of Caucasian actors playing Persians. Doctor Who fans will recognize the Fourth Doctor, Tom Baker, as the bad guy. Heroine Caroline Munroe was the woman of my dreams when this movie first came out, though her racy costumes are pretty sedate compared to some of the fashions in 2015!My kids love this movie, though it takes a bit of patience before the stop motion action really gets going.

Highest recommendation for fans of classic rock
Teriffic recording of John Entwistle, the outstanding bass player for The Who, and his band during a live tour of the States. Liner notes by one of the musicians. The songs are interspersed with comments and chatter between the band members on stage. One time Entwistle even stops a song and re-starts it. The second song "The Real Me" from The Who's "Quadrophenia" album might even be better than Roger Daltrey's anguished cry from the original album. The amazing bass line is outstanding. I never had the opportunity to see Entwistle in concert, and I regret that even more, having heard this CD set. I would definitely buy the remastered two-disc set than the original recording.

Detailed story by PV pilot
Very interesting book about little-known aircraft. I was interested because there was one at the Lone Star Flight Museum in Galveston, Texas. These aircraft were much more heavily involved in the war than I realized. It gives good military and technical history of the aircraft by a pilot who was there.
