Red: Retired - Extremely Dangerous
Not to be confused with the movie "Red" which starred Warren Beatty, this film is another wonderful example of what creative writers can do for aging stars who may not be in their prime but haven't lost a single step of talent.
This is a group of retired CIA and MI6 "wet work" operatives who are drawn out of retirement back into the fray due to circumstances beyond their control, friendship, and respect for one another as seen in the character played by Ronnie Cox as a Russian black op adversary to Bruce Willis' Frank Moses.
On some levels the movie is completely believable if you can wrap your head around five former agents outsmarting the CIA, secret service, and obscenely wealthy, connected defense contractor. Sort of sounds like something taken from today's headlines.
Red is fun, fantastic, and delightfully clever in its ability to amaze and highlight a very real truth about human nature and the political climate we live in today. Also that everyone has a past which reaches out to touch us in the most unusual and unexpected ways.
The disc and case came to me in perfect condition and the disc plays flawlessly. I would certainly purchase from this seller again without hesitation.
