Great value earset mic
1 of 1 found this helpful Extremely affordable, great sound and easy to use. In my situation in live community theater where conscious attention to the care of the equipment by the users does not exist, this product has significantly reduced our show-related costs significantly without sacrificing quality of sound.
As much as we try to make users aware of the cost of replacement and the small attention to detail that it takes to not destroy a mic, some mics still get returned after a show with the cable ripped out of the body pack connector or ripped off at the mic itself. Some of the previous mics we used cost upwards of 300.00 each depending on our source. Due to the cost I spend countless hours repairing mics re-attaching cables to the mics and re-attaching cables to connectors. Now I need only re-attach cables to connectors and replace mics with cables ripped off the earset.
On average- Our show costs went down from nearly 2000.00 per show to less than 250.00!
These mics are great. You'll like them too.

Buyer beware

The software, if it will load, has NEVER detected the hardware. Its error message reads; "cannot discover enclosures, Check network connections, check power supply, or reboot Z-SAN enclosures". The other error message is "cannot discover volumes, Check network connections, check power supply, or reboot Z-SAN enclosures".
2. Is it easy to setup? Who Knows?? - see #1 above
3. Is it easy to use? - See #1 and 2 above.
All "checks' were made and tried with 4 different PC's and 3 different operating systems. The errors NEVER left, nor did the Hammer ever work. This could be something as simple as defective software (what was sent is a copy, not an original). But, there apparently is NO original software to be found online, as the manufacturer has gone defunct. All websites that are listed for said equipment cannot be accessed.
