new life for my 18V tools
I had almost all the 18V tools and the batteries were shot and I decided to go 20V impact and drill. But with the adapter I can use the line of 18V tools that were collecting dust. Plus some of the tools like skillsaw wouldn't last long time on a charge of 1.2amp batteries, now I use my 5amp batteries and I'm planning on getting 6amp batteries 20V. To me it's a plus.

light weight, good dept adjustment.
I already own one and bought a second one, I use it a lot for in my shop and on the job renovating for thin stuff like soffit and furniture back veneer.

Add a circuit fuse holder
Work well to get 12v power from fuse box
