Started right up and very quiet. The CPU would shut down when getting too hot with old fan. Now no reboots! Yeah...

LP HiHat Tambourine fail
I really expected a much better product from lp. It is very small an can't think of many live situations that it would cut through. Plain and simple it's not responsive and quality is just middle of the road. A great idea but needs to go back to the drawing board to make a more reliable mechanism for a throw off as well as possibly a slightly larger footprint.

ddrum Mercury series
The 12mm posts are much moe stable than the 10.5mm standard hardware, also a more suitable fit. Still not as solid as the DW 9000's, but the DW hardware at 12.7mm is not compatible with DDrums. This is the best solution out there for ddrum acoustic shells.
