Finding the right insole is tricky business, but I am glad I discovered these --after many expensive purchases of others.
I would describe these as lightweight insoles that give nice cushion to the bounce in your step. I "pound the pavement" & find these GREAT comfort.
The other thing I love about these is the nice grip they afford my foot. While other insoles do not have a surface that helps to keep the foot in place, the surface of these insoles actually anchor the foot, keeping it from sliding --especially when worn without socks.
Because they are lightweight, however, they don't really last that long. I commute and do a lot of walking, so I can get up to three months of wear out of them, although I really think they should be replaced about every other month. The time length really depends on how often you walk -- and (how) you walk. If you're light on your feet, you probably won't wear them out like someone who is foot heavy.
