It's a modern take on an old method
It works for long enough for anyone within earshot to fall asleep, and by long enough I usually take it off in my sleep.
My only criticism, is that I had to wash it a couple of times before I used it to get rid of the rubbery smell from manufacturing. But after that it was fune
