Best at price point

Had one of these already so I knew what to expect. They may not boast mega lumen capability but they are bright. For the size and option of having a variable beam you cannot beat this price point. Sturdy enough to take a few drops. Good for purse, auto and pocket carry. I also have alot of rechargeable 18650 batteries available from a charging pack I took apart so the fact that this doesn't come with a battery is even better for me.

VL2020 Battery Rework Required

VL2020 batteries have been reworked from the tabs being at 180 deg to re-tacking the negative tab down at 90 deg. Battery date codes are Nov 2019. The tab design where it tapers down to fit the circuit board are too long and will not allow the battery to sit flush, therefore the key fob cannot be put back together. I had to file down the tabs to get the battery to sit flush. And the 90 deg. spacing barely fit. Voltage on both batteries was over 3.1V prior to installation. Overall happy with the purchase but I did not expect this level of quality and amount of work required to install them. Time will tell how they hold up after being reworked.
