Great upgrade for non suspension bikes

25.4mm will fit many 1980's era 10 and 12 speeds, and this suspension seatpost is a fine addition to these steeds. It's parts fit snugly, there is no play left to right as other reviewers have suggested (were they considering an older model?) and the actual play is more than sufficient. Bumps are dampened leaving the rider more comfortable. A game changer.
