The Jungle Book DVD 1999 Limited Issue

This review is for The Jungle Book (dvd 1999 limited issue) Disney Animated. There have been many releases of this movie, but after doing some research, I decided to buy this particular release. A review I had read prior to the purchase said that this version had the best picture ratio. That person had shown screen shots comparing 2 different releases that clearly proved his point. Even though this is an older dvd, and I bought it as used but in very good condition, the picture quality was excellent and per the case the aspect ratio is exactly the same as the original theatrical release (no part of the picture cut off or trimmed down as with at least some of the other releases).Great movie, great music, highly recommend.

Lego Adventurers Desert Oasis Ambush 5938 Sphinx Secret Surprise 5978

Great set! I wish Lego would bring back their Adventurers’ line.

It’s discontinued, but I do recommend it if you can find one. Not only is the sphinx super cute, but I thought this was a great way to introduce the boys to ancient Egypt. Plus, it has some great miniifigs, both good and bad characters that make it a great playset (with supervision). I add that because The base is 3 dimensional with hidden compartments, and I’m not sure how sturdy it is. I’d guess it’s pretty sturdy because the set I have is used, has been played with, and is still in excellent condition after all these years.
