King Brand Deluxe Waterstone 1000 Grit

"Large and beefy"

If you are going to get a 1,000-grit waterstone, this is the one you should have. It's long, thick, wide and beefy and will last you for years. I also recommend using the POWERTEC 71013 Sharpening Stone Holder with it to keep the stone from slipping on your sharpening surface.

Good finishing stone

If you have your mind set on getting a King 6,000 grit stone, spend the extra money and get the S1. It's larger than the others.
