Slow but steady
This is a classical film that seems slow for today's action packed science fictions. This may be true. but it does have a certain appeal.

The author writes in an easily understood way. The information contained is interesting and sometimes surprising.

Scrooge's lessons
Dicken's characters were a commentary on the society of his times. The main character having accepted that money is the God he worships at the expense of his and everyone's life. Similar to what some people of our times consider to be the way to go.
Fortunately Ebenezer was visited by three ghosts that allowed him to review his life choices. It would be wonderful if today's Scrooges were to have the same opportunities.
