Good printer .. software horribilis
Although the printer itself is good the software is terrible. I was plagued by one of the installed services brYNsvc.exe with Event errors every 2-3 seconds . When contacting Brother they suggested I don't install that part. After doing that I get 10-12 errors from the services for iprint and scan. Again Brother told me to uninstall it.
Seems that Brother don't really want to find out what causes the problem, they are adept at telling their customers "you don't really need that software".
The printer itself is a breath of fresh air compared to my Samsung wireless which failed pick up paper or provide a decent black print. In that respect I guess I am just saying the Brother is performing as a laser printer should.

Unfit for purpose
This is a very poorly made product. After the 3rd use a piece of the very thin metal broke off - this is supposed to get under the portafilter but is so badly made and too brittle to withstand the job it was intended for.
Therefore unfit for purpose.
