What can you say about the greatest avant garde Jazz ensemble in history?
Mingus is in rare form here with his unique arrangements and tribute to his hero Duke Ellington (check out his rendition of TAKE THE A TRAIN).
The band was the best of the best which includes one of the last performances of Eric Dolphy.
The audio and video are excellent considering it's over 50 years old!
A must have to any collection.
