Black comedy as only the British can do it
Witty, engaging and hilarious, and the sort of ensemble cast only the British can provide. I recorded it years ago from television and took ages to find a dvd for sale after losing my copy. The stories of the Bank Manager Murders, the machinations of the BBC channel heads, and the woes of the Reform Party, entwine to make a great black comedy, perfectly performed by the much-missed Warren Clarke, Rik Mayall and Richard Griffiths, and Alun Armstrong, Stephen Fry, and Rebecca Front, among others.

Not a complete edition
I bought this because one of the discs on my original set is scratched and unplayable. Unfortunately this edition is missing the introductions where the team members tell Tony what their best digs are, and the scenes where Mick, Phil and Tony discuss the digs afterward. Thatβs very disappointing.

Not as advertised
The yarn looks a good fawn colour on the screen but is a weak, bland beige in reality. It looks like it will pill and doesnβt feel very soft. Wonβt be using it for the intended project and wonβt buy it again.
