This was the second book in the Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind and I have read the whole series through at least 3 times. If you like SciFi/Fantasy, this is one that you will have a hard time putting down. The new series "Legend of the Seeker" is loosely based on these novels, though with any book-to-tv/movie attempt, a lot is lost in the translation. Of all the books, the first is my favorite, but all of them are hard to put down - even after the second or thrid read. I started reading them years ago, and anyone starting out now has the benefit of not having to wait for the next one to come out. The final novel ("Confessor") came out in 2007 and did a nice job of tying up all the loose ends of the story.
I purchased these because they are first editions and complete my collection of first editions for this series. Reading an e-book can be convenient, but there is nothing like curling up on the couch with a real hardcover.

Just as advertised
I had one of these cameras and still have many tapes. So happy to have a working unit.

Love it
7 of 7 found this helpful I have had one of these units for about 2 months now and absolutely love it. I did have a Pocket PC prior to this and went with the Windows based OS mostly because I was already familiar with the OS and many of the apps already. When looking for a new PPC, I came across this one and after doing a bit of research decided to take the plunge.
Overall, the use of the GPS and mapping systems are fairly intuitive, but there wasn't a lot of supporting literature on the PPC functions. If you have never used a PPC with a Windows based OS, there wasn't a lot of literature included with this. The manual focuses on the GPS system. Of the few criticisms I found when doing my own research, one was the need to get a key code for the maps. Since you are allowed access to one map group with the purchase (from road, topographic and waterways charts and within those, which area of the globe), you have to make the choice once you receive the system, and get a key online from Garmin (the software walks you through this). You are allowed to purchase additional sets though, making this very versatile no matter the type of GPS use you may have (hiking, driving or boating). A second had to do with the suction mount for the car. Some states prohibit attaching anything to the windshield and I just don't like having my view obstructed. The unit I purchased included an adhesive disc to allow for a dash mount using the same suction cup. This installation allows me an unobstructed view through the windsheild and I haven't had a single problem since I installed it.
The third criticism was the need for a firmware upgrade. I would suggest checking on any purchased system to see if this needs to be done before doing any program installation or customizing (as it wipes everything out). Since maps are stored on your PC they aren't affected, but if you have contacts in Outlook, stored tracks, Word docs, or even notes, they would need to be backed up prior to the firmware upgrade. It is just simpler to do it first.
Overall, I have been extremely happy with my purchase. My only frustration is that they don't make a handlebar mount for the unit so I can use it with my motorcycle.
