Great paper for use with Epson inks, but look for deals.

I find genuine Epson paper to be the best to work with Epson inks. It's unfortunate because their paper can be pricey, so I strongly suggest shopping around. Don't pay retail! Good deals are out there.

Cost 2x as much as the generics but last literally 30x as long, so turn out to be 7x cheaper.

With my older Mr. Coffee I could use the generic filters which cost half as much as the genuine Mr. Coffee filters. I now have a more recent model (JPX37-R) after my old coffee maker died of old age. I've found that the generic filters don't work as well in my newer machine - in fact after ONE use they collapse into the basket while the coffee is brewing. The genuine filters last for an entire month so although they cost twice as much per filter as the generics (my generics had bar code 641606757679 on the wrapper), they turn out to be 7x cheaper over time. That is, 30 generic filters per month at about 50 cents each adds up to $15 for them while the genuine filters are about $2 per month.

Use genuine manufacturer's ink

I use genuine manufacturer's ink for the most reliable results. The Canon series of inks in the XL size are the best value.
