Great value w/ great image quality compared to buying a longer lens
1 of 1 found this helpful Performs very well on lenses that it was designed for with a very slight reduction in image quality and focus speed. The sharper the original (bare without the teleconverter) lens is the better off you are. Don't put this on a crappy plastic 70-300 something zoom and expect great results it won't focus and the image will be probably be poor. But on a sharp 2.8 zoom or prime lens it is very good. I'm able to track fast moving birds and vehicles or motorcycles on a race track at speed with the converter attached to a sigma 120-300 F2.8. This gives me a 168-420 F4 lens that works very well and is still very sharp. I'm looking forward to trying a 2X during Bald eagle season next year.

Great product well built
Well made and easy to setup, once you’ve used ultra slings everything else feels slow. I like the ring in place of a block in some situations as it provides slightly more friction.
